SF Hacks is an entirely student run, student driven hackathon that hosts over 600 of California's most talented collegiate engineers, designers, and developers in a 24-hour hackathon.
Here, students are given the opportunity to create, learn, and experiment. Students are encouraged to create websites, mobile apps, games, and more. This is where we will turn cutting-edge ideas into reality.

Submitting to this hackathon could earn you:
- Only students may participate, a student is anyone who has enrolled in an educational program within the last 12 months.
- All participants of SF Hacks are required to sign a Hold Harmless Agreement waiver as directed per San Francisco State University policy.
- Any participants under the age of 18 are required to have an additional parent/ guardian signature.
